Background/History – How Did Your Enterprise Start?

Driven by our passion for high-end perfumes, my husband and I pursued extensive training in perfume-making with the intent of creating scents for personal use. Back when we were single, indulging in luxury fragrances was part of our lifestyle. However, after starting a family, buying expensive perfumes became less of a priority.

We initially made perfumes for ourselves and later shared them with friends. At the end of 2024, the company where I worked announced major changes. Facing uncertainty about the future, we saw an opportunity to turn our passion into a business. This became the perfect moment to pursue something we loved—and so, Rocass Scents was born. The name is inspired by our two children, Rod and Cassy—our reason for existing.

Living in Batasan, I see many women who stay at home, searching for ways to support their families financially. I want to empower them by offering training and livelihood programs, giving them an opportunity to earn rather than rely solely on government aid like 4Ps.

Another motivation for starting this business is my 7-year-old child, whom I can only monitor via CCTV while working. I hope to build a business that allows me to balance work and family life. Currently, I support two college students with a small allowance. Though it may not be much, I dream of expanding Rocass Scents to help more students in the future as our business grows.

Some of Our Milestones

We have developed a variety of scents inspired by luxury fragrances, offering comparable quality at a much more affordable cost. We also introduced product innovations like Helmet Sprays, which have disinfectant properties. Additionally, we've begun offering our products to event and giveaway shoppers—small but meaningful wins for us.

We’ve had the opportunity to join free bazaars hosted by POPQC and Tatak Kyusi, proudly presenting our products as a QC-manufactured brand. For nearly two years, Rocass Scents has actively engaged with various organizations, including the QC LGU, SBCDPO, DOST, and DTI. Most recently, we joined Bayan Academy for mentorship, training, and potential grants or assistance to help grow and refine our business.
